WHY US
Not all locksmiths are created equal. Believe it or not, there is no regulatory body appointed by the government to licence or regulate the locksmith industry. This is why GK Locksmiths are proud to be be granted membership of The Master Locksmith Association – a body that is constantly pushing for more regulation in the industry, a body whose members are Vetted, Inspected, and Qualified through exam based qualifications – and crucially lobbied the government so that anyone granted membership to the association be specifically included in the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 – that is to say cannot refuse to be checked by the Goverment’s Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) previously known as Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). We are always professional, trustworthy and reliable, and pride ourselves on providing a personal service. In addition to this we are not only Approved by The Master Locksmiths Association but we are also proud to sit on the board.
